Geisha acrylic

Most of you all know that I am a Digital Illustrator and a water Color Artist on the side for fun. At the age of 51 I decided to try my hand at acrylic painting. Here is my first true Acrylic painting. I took a photo that my dad took in 1958 when he was stationed in Japan and used it for my reference. The canvas is 8x12 I am starting small. I think it turned out ok. I may go through some of dad's other photos and do more. wish me luck.
